1. Eye and ear protection is mandatory for shooters and spectators alike.
2. This is a cold range. All firearms are unloaded except under the direct supervision of a Range Officer (RO) or in a safety area. Not in the parking lot.
3. All firearms are to be kept holstered or bagged with hammer down. Long arms will also have actions left open and the muzzle pointing down.
4. No loaded firearm will be dropped.
5. Any dropped firearm will be picked up by a Range Officer (RO).
6. The 180 degree shooting plane will not be broken (firearm will always be pointed safely down range).
7. No rounds will be fired while loading, reloading, unloading (rimfire exempted), clearing a malfunction or while moving and not engaging a target.
8. No shots will impact the ground within 10 feet of anyone.
9. No shots will leave the range.
10. No wearing of camouflaged clothing or clothing with controversial sayings.
11. No shooters are to use or be under the influence of any legal or illegal substance while on the range.
12. No unsportsmenlike behavior.

Breaking any of these rules will result in the immediate disqualifcation and / or removal of the person(s) involved.

• SSA Range Officers and Staff will have final say in all matters.
• SSA reserves the right to refuse service at any time, to anyone.
